December

…. Where has time gone?! Seems like we have been SO Busy! And right now I should be finishing my dress for the Christmas program tonight!! But I needed a break from all the running here and scurrying there! Every time I proclaim that we are going to have a relaxing Christmas…. It gets busier! Some things that have happened:

o   Our dear friends Tom and Rachel came home from Paraguay for a couple months! Just wish they were here to stay!

o   Christmas with Kelly’s family was a very loud party like usual! A baby, a 2 year old, a 6 year old, our dear black brother Charlie, and then the GOOSSENS…. There were a few times I locked myself up in the bathroom or bundled up and went to clear snow! But it was lots of fun with food being made and ate ALL the time!

o   My dear hubby gave me a beautiful cast iron tea pot for Christmas! Absolutely love it!!

o   The K-Tec sales guys along with their wives came up for the Christmas Banquet at work, so did some entertaining… The banquet was awesome. Saturday we took Mike and Theda our ‘Mississippi Grandparents’ out to Kenora for the day. Always love to see the southern reaction to the snow on the fir trees and the frozen lakes…. It is truly beautiful! It’s like Theda said, ‘How could anyone not believe in God when you see all this beauty!’

o   Work

o   Catching up at home. Cleaning up the spare room so Cam can even get in there when he comes back with us at Christmas. Cleaning rest of the house, sewing, Christmas cards, getting gifts for our tenants….

There it is in brief! Now I have got to get to the sewing machine and tomorrow will be busy with doing up the laundry, running to Winnipeg, packing, and the vehicle MUST be cleaned out before we leave! So… See some of you soon, and to the rest…. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

...

Can you believe Christmas is only a month away?! We finished up the last of our Christmas shopping last night. Now I plan to relax and enjoy the Season! I would like to sew a couple more dresses, but I decided if the get done, great and if not, well… they just don’t.

Last night we were eating supper in Winnipeg, and I looked out the window and here it was just a snowing away! I just LoVe to watch it snow! Now we’re supposed to get more tomorrow so hopefully it comes (and without the wind)!

Today I’m catching up on laundry and want to do some baking of some kind and who knows, maybe I’ll get one of those dresses cut out!

Oh, and Thursday all the US people and their family’s from Red River are getting together for a Thanksgiving supper! There’s actually quite a few of us from the states, so it should be a great time!

Winter is Coming...

My word, time flies! Will it ever slow down?! Some things we've gotten accomplished:
  • spoiling 2 of our very cute nephews
  • most of our Christmas shopping
  • a couple of dress sewed
  •  a visit to Kelly’s folks in Kenora
  •  our yard totally ‘winterized’
And now I’m working all week, since the other girl is off on a trip. I want to get some sewing done or finish up the last of the Christmas stuff this week, but we’ll see. I don’t normally feel like sewing after work. Erica and Tiff, I need y’all here to give me some inspiration!

Oh, we got our first snow for the winter this last weekend. A lot of it melted but there’s still some around, so I guess winter is really here!!
Well, I stayed home from members meeting tonight, so I could catch up… Better get with it!

October 31!!!

BOO!!! Did I scare you?! LOL

Some things that have happened since I last wrote:

….worked our last Farmer’s Market of the year!! (In the sleet, wind, and cold. We actually wore our winter clothes.) We both decided we would not be doing it again next year! Just makes us too busy!

….worked on the ambulance, Sunday. A Father and Son were canoeing and dumped into the river. Not a great day to do that as it was very cold and windy! We picked up the son, who was extremely COLD and raced him to the hospital in Winnipeg. (He made it but the father didn't, so feel sorry for the poor boy!)

….worked Monday. Kelly and Russ went to California, so I went to Meletta’s for the night and Tuesday. Got 2 dresses finished!! Went out for supper with Meletta, Kyla, and Nathan.

….Wednesday, I caught up here at home. Did a pile of laundry, washed some windows, and stuff.

….and today the called and asked if I could PLEASE come to work, so off to work I went.
Well there’s the week! Seems like it has flown by! We’re going to Bredenbury tomorrow to spend the weekend with Josh and Christi and the 2 nephews!! Can’t wait! Antonio is almost 2 and Diego is 1 month. Hope you all had Happy Halloween! We both worked late, so didn't even get to have any Trick or Treater's!

Home Folks

Friday evening we had company for supper, and I was so excited!! They came all the way from Alabama, well actually I guess it was NYC where they came from. Dalen and Deb Ratzlaff graced us with their presence! It was just awesome to have someone from home come for a visit! Even if it was only a couple hours! Karlin and Shayla were here too. Dalen's had been Karlin's house parents in NYC. Was very relaxing evening with lots of stories and good laughs.

Saturday, we lazed around until around 5, then decided to meet Steve and Gloria and boys in Winnipeg for supper. Came home and worked on the ambulance. Earlier in day, the guys had taken someone in that had been stabbed in the face. He informed them that he was going out to get revenge soon as he got back home, so we were hoping for a 'good' call but guess he must have chickened out or something...

Sunday, we went to Weldon and Wynelle Isaac's for lunch. Karlin & Shayla and Dalen & Steph were there too. Got to know Steph a little better. Shayla is from MO and Steph is from NC so we had the 'southern girl' thing going on! :) Had to practice songs at Karlin's later on so did that and then off to church again.

Now today, I worked and Kelly left for Toronto at 4 AM and was back home at 6 PM so he's already in bed. Guess I should go too, and then get up in good time tomorrow. I'm really wanting to get some Winter sewing done, since it was already flurrying away yesterday. Today was brutally cold... 17* wind chill and it still October!!

.....and there you have it!

GSAR

This weekend Kelly and I took a GSAR (Ground Search and Rescue) course. I was awesome!! Here are some things we learned.
·       Reading maps, like actually reading them using degree’s and such
·       Using a compass, which I found out is an amazing little tool
·       A compass goes according to magnetic north, not true north
·       Using a hand GPS
·       Survival in wind, rain, sun, snow…
·       What all we need to have ready in our packs at all times
·       GSAR is run by the police, not EMS or Fire
·       How to do an actual search
So ya… it was a very informative course. Sunday we spent the day using the skills we had learned to search through the woods around here. Calling in with any clues we found and also learning to work as a team.  Now we need to go shopping to get us 2 full packs ready to go in case we get called out. (It’s definitely not a cheap thing to get a complete pack ready, and we have to do 2!)

Also…. Yesterday was Thanksgiving here. We didn't have any family deals and we never had turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, or sweet potatoes all wkend!! I didn't miss the turkey, but I sure wouldn't have minded some the rest! We actually sat here by ourselves all day, until we finally decided to go fry wings at Nelsons. I made a pumpkin coffee cake for dessert so that what our pumpkin…

Hello Again

Kelly is back home from his dealer trips!! YAY! The last 2 weeks I've tried to keep myself occupied while Kelly was away.... Worked my usual Mondays and then spent some time in Kenora with Folks the one week and a couple of days in Beausajour with my East Gate host family the next week. I just hate staying home by myself. The days and nights just drag on and it's sooo quiet!  But now he's home and life can return to normal! Well, we have one more Saturday and Farmer's Market and then it can return to normal!

Tiff, Erica, and myself have decided to try and lose some weight or get fit for Christmas! (We helped Mom decide on this too!! :) We love you Mom!) Sharon feel free to join in as well if you want! So... out with the veggies and fruit and away with the snacks! I'm making some granola right now that's at least half ways healthy! Also I'm doing away with sodium, as my blood pressure seems to like to be high ever since I was sick! So ya! Gotta get my brain in high gear to come up with yummy, healthy meals! Let me know if anyone has any suggestions!

5th Anniversary

Amazing, Relaxing, Peaceful…. That is how our little trip to Lutsen was. It had been a long time since it had been just the 2 of us on a little trip.

We left Wednesday around noon and got to our cabin around 9. The drive was beautiful with the leaves changing and the hills and lakes. (Mom, I told Kelly you and him couldn't go on a trip in fall together cause you would both be saying ‘look, look over there at that tree! And that one over there!! Lol)

Thursday we had brunch at the Coho Café. If any of you ever get over in that area, you have to stop here. It is the most amazing café! With the best pizza and breakfast, but I’ll tell you about that later! After eating we headed out to Cascade Falls. Hiked there for about an hour, drove around some more and stopped for a Frap at some little coffee place. Went up Lutsen Mountain and did the Gondola ride and shopped around some. Then we headed back to the main lodge for a supper overlooking the lake; only it was dark so we didn't see much. Was delish! Especially my salad with blueberries, pecans, and feta.

Friday we hiked around the lodge and our cabin and then decided to go out on the kayak tour. It ended up being just us and an older couple who had never kayaked before, so they gave us some good laughs!! We only got to go for about an hour since a storm was coming in and swells were getting bigger all the time. Kelly and I wanted to stay out longer but beaching the kayaks isn't quite as easy to do as it is in the Florida sand beaches, there were lots of rocks and waves wanted to just shoot you in…. Was a lot of fun! Went back to our cabin and warmed up then went up the mountain again for supper. Back at the cabin we decided to go down to the camp fires and see if there was anything interesting going on…. They have fires every evening on the beach and they give you all the fixings to make s’mores! We never did make any though, because we were always to full from supper!

Saturday we woke up to the waves pounding on the beach. Was awesome to watch them come in and hit the rocks. We said goodbye to our cabin and headed to Coho for breakfast! Sharon you would have loved the croissant we shared! Was so warm and flakey and then…. Topped with pecans and caramel sauce!! And we had Pumpkin Spice Coffee to go with it!! It was truly amazing! We had a scrummy breakfast sandwiches with home-made salsa as well. But the croissant topped it all to pieces! We did buy some coffee from them but it was the French Toast coffee that we had had on Thursday, love it!! On to Duluth were we walked around in the mist and cold shopping at little stores and checking out the museum at the port. Was all very interesting. Then headed on to Fargo, ND for night.

Sunday Kelly and Russ flew out on business so Meletta, Kyla, Melissa, and I did some shopping before heading back to MB. You just can’t beat shopping in the states!! We got home around 11 so we got a lot of shopping done!

And that was our little get away trip!! I’m already looking forward to the next one!! J

I've been all the way to Vancouver Island so now I just need to get all the way to Nova Scotia... This is a start! Thunder Bay here we come...

So now I'm still at work helping Kelly get caught up on work so we can leave as soon as possible tomorrow morning!!

A happy week to you all and I'll let you know how the trip was when I'm back!!

Fall has Arrived

Crisp Mornings
Cool Days
Cold Nights
Pumpkin Spice Latte’s
Mums
Camp Fires
Wind Rattling Through Dried Corn Stocks

Those are a few things, I always think about at Fall! We’ve already had frost on the ground and it looks like it’s only supposed to be getting colder.
Let’s see…. What have I been doing. We went to folks one weekend and just relaxed. We took the boat out and Kelly fished while us girls read our books. Other than that we’ve been around here, doing Farmer’s Market, working at K-Tec and on the ambulance, going to birthday parties…

K-Tec hired a new sales guy so Kelly’s been training him all week. Lori (one of the girls at K-Tec) quit so we had a party for here yesterday. Melissa took her place so I think that’s awesome… to work with one of your good friends. Also yesterday I couldn’t figure out why 8:30 just never came around (that’s what I had set my alarm for). Finally I looked at my phone and it was 10:10! Well you can imagine the flying out of bed, the dash through the shower, and the banging of pots and pans in the kitchen since I was supposed to be at K-Tec by 11! And still had to make tea and BBQ sauce and it’s at 15 min drive there!! I made for 11:26! LOL But all went well! After that party there, I had a birthday party to go to. It was for one of the young married ladies so was a lot of fun just gabbing and eating! J Then back to K-Tec for another get together for supper…. Needless to say I ate basically nothing; I mean I had just barely finished a slice of chocolate cheesecake, fruit, white chocolate latte, and strawberry lemonade!! After supper we had another birthday party to go to, but we opted out and went home to bed instead!

Camping!

What a great time we had!! We left here Wednesday after work and headed to Tamarack Island.  Got to the Gil’s Marina and Todd Hacult (the owner) came to take us to the island. It was a beautiful 30 minute boat ride, totally black out except for the stars and some lighting in the distance. The waves weren’t too bad so managed to get there with our clothes still quite dry! The first thing on the agenda was to dress up Danielle (owners daughter) like one of us! We were going to do it last time but ran out of time! Was quite hilarious, the funniest thing was that it all looked quite ‘normal’ on her! I don’t think her folks quite knew what to think!! J The rest of our time there was spent making meals, swimming, and fishing. All in all a lovely time!
... I did not take this picture! :)
Kelly and I left with the rest of the fishing group Friday afternoon and headed to Little Gordon Lake. We stopped and checked out Nester Falls, since we had both been through the town a few times but had never seen the falls.  They weren’t anything huge and great but I still really liked them! I mean, water falling over rocks… you just can’t beat it! Finally got to Little Gordon Lake and Nelson & Wanda, Tamara, Kristopher and Mikey & Tiff were already there. Put up our tents, made a fire and supper, and then just relaxed. Northern lights were faintly dancing to the North and Loons were crying and the wind was gently blowing through the pines and the water lapping at the sandy shore….. I know y’all all wish you could have been there!! Stacy and Melissa finally got there, so talked with them for a little before heading to bed just as the rain started. Rained some in the night but we all stayed dry! Saturday, the guys went to put tin on one of the cabins in the neighborhood and us girls just swam, kayaked, read, and relaxed in the sun. Sunday, we went exploring to an old abandoned town. There were a few log houses, a beautiful church (in its day) and a few gravestones. A little farther on we found a dam and some other old buildings. I thought it would be so much fun to fix it all up and make some kind of camp out of it or something…. We found out later a man had built it as a mission post for the natives in the area, but once he got too old and sick to take care of it, it just went downhill. Back at camp it was raining away, so we decided to go to Kenora for coffee. Monday dawned bright and sunny!! Most of us decided to kayak to sand lake we had heard about. So across Little Gordon Lake we went; then portaged to the next lake and kayaked across that one, portaged again and kayaked to the end of that lake. We beached our kayaks there and hiked to sand lake. It was truly beautiful. All sand and crystal clear! Rested there for a while and then headed back! Got back and packed everything up took one last look and headed for home.

I forgot to mention the Little Gordon Lake was so clean and clear we could actually drink straight from the lake! And one morning Kelly and I built a big, roaring fire then went for a swim. Why the fire? It was 50 degrees out! J

Now I’ve just been trying to catch up! Ben (Kelly’s little black nephew) came on Tuesday and only left today so didn’t get a lot of extra work done. But now Kelly is gone to Toronto so I’ve been trying to get some things done!

How was your long weekend?

Indian Summer

WOW!! You should feel how warm it’s been here the last week and a half!! I can actually say it’s been humid here now! And I could even say Hot! Especially on Monday, at K-Tec, when I was working in a shipping container with no air movement what-so-ever! The other guy working in there is from Brazil… Guess we were the only ones that could handle it! Lol

As soon as Kelly gets home from work we are leaving for Tamarack Island again. This time Kelly’s coming along! YAY! We’re cooking today, Thursday, and Friday. Maybe we’ll get to swim this time, since it’s been so warm.

The rest of the weekend we’re camping with Nelson’s. So should prove to be a very entertaining and adventurous time! I bought me a book and think Nelson’s are bringing all the kayaks and canoes so ya… I’ll let you know how it was!

Happy Labour Day to all!

Will Life Ever Slow Down?

Our life the last week or so was much the same as always….. Eat, Sleep, Work, Repeat! But hey, we’re young, healthy, and full of energy (at least we pretend, we are) so why not be busy and on the go?!

I only worked at K-Tec on Monday last week plus a couple hours the rest of the days, so the rest of my time was spent catching up at home! Mowing the jungle was #1 on the list then cleaning the house, baking, and sewing all fell into place at #2! I got the yard mowed, dishes done and upstairs cleaned. The best thing though, was that I got 1 Sunday dress done and another one that just needs the hem! I can’t even remember the last time I had a new Sunday dress!!

Of course Saturday was Farmer’s Market, so up at 5:00, in Winnipeg by 6:15 and there until 3:30. We had to do a little shopping afterwards too, so by the time we were home we were both dead tired!

… all the above was written yesterday! Since then we went out for supper with Russ & Meletta and Alisa and Kyla. Alisa is leaving for Edmonton next week, so we wanted to be with her one more time. (Russ is one of the owners of K-Tec.) We got home around 11:00, and I found out I had to have 4 big porkloins smoked, pulled, and ready to go by lunch today!! So Kelly went to bed and I got the meat ready and on the smoker. Finally got to sleep around 1:30! Then I was back up at 7:30 to start working with them again! Well, I went out on the deck where the smoker was, and someone or something had been on the deck and took the lid off the smoker!! So guess what, the top rack of loins was quite dried out! Needless to say, I was very grumpy! But it’s for at the island so I decided I’d just add some marinade and BBQ sauce to it when we warm it up.

By the time I finally had the meat taken care of and 4 batches of BBQ sauce made it was time to make lunch. Charlie, Ben, Danielle, and Jess were coming, so whipped up some pizza and got Kelly to pick up ice cream for dessert.

So ya… I am now having a lazy afternoon! Well except for doing laundry and cutting out a dress (actually have it almost done)! J

Thought for the Day

“The best remedy for those who are afraid,
lonely or unhappy is to go outside,
somewhere where they can be quiet,
alone with the heavens, nature and God.
Because only then does one feel
that all is as it should be.”

Highlights

So my computer is working for the time being!! But I’m not at all convinced that it will stay working! It has supposedly been fixed quite a few times already!! Now for a few of the exciting things that have been going on:

Morris Stampede – Morris, our home town, is the home of Manitoba’s only Professional Rodeo, so that week Morris is always swarming with people and action! Kelly and I worked on the ambulance at the Stampede every evening, so we got front row seats! Always love that! But makes wish all over again for my own horse! Someday!!

Mom and Wayne Visited – Mom and Wayne came for a very short visit, but we got lots of stuff done! Kenora, fishing, boating, a little hiking, and then back to Morris to where they got to come visit us at Farmer’s Market and see what a busy market is like!! Mom and I shopped after market and Kelly and Wayne went to Cabela’s and not sure what all else. Sunday we went to the park with my East Gate family for lunch and in the evening we went to our ‘family’ here to sit around the fire with friends. And Monday…. They left, after another meal and Mongo’s Grill that is! J Wayne really enjoyed that place. Think we’ll be able to get them up here just by mentioning Mongo’s! lol We had a great time, hope they did too!

Kenora – The last week of July, Kelly was gone on a business trip so I headed to Kenora to be with his family. Brian and Katie and little Eli where there too. (Katie and I were in the unit together and she lived with Kelly’s family) You just can’t beat old friends! Mikey and Tiff brought Kelly out on the weekend since they were spending the long weekend at her Uncle’s cabin. So on Saturday Brian’s and Us took the boat to another lake and spent the whole day fishing! Was so much fun and such clear lake! You could actually watch the fish chase down the hook! And by the way, I caught the biggest one! Not bad for someone who used to not be able to even catch a fish in the Florida catfish ponds! Ha, Ha! Anyways, had a very good fish supper! The rest of the weekend we just did more of the same! Very relaxing!

Tamarack Island – The first week of August I spent at Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge (check it out) cooking for fishermen! Dad owns part of the fishing camp so we get to go cook when folks order the ‘All American’ Package! Danielle and Jess were there to help too. Had lots of fun and the guys were a jolly bunch so that always makes for some good laughs. The only bad thing was that it was very cold!! I am NOT ready for summer to be over with yet!

So there are some of the highlights…. Hopefully I can keep up to date now, but like I said, Who Knows!

LiFe...

....Trust me, I know it's been forever since I've blogged! My computer was supposed to be fixed....but it is NoT! So finally here I am doing this on my phone! Which is painfully slow and annoying!

A couple of fun things we've done in July... July 1we had all the younge couples and a few other friends over to play baseball! Turned out to be piles of fun with lots of good food and we finished off with the town fireworks right in our backyard! For those of you who have not been here our backyard is the soccer fields and baseball diamonds!
Now last night we all got together again to welcome the youngest couple to our group, Karlin and Shayla. Of course we had more good food and then played some amazing games of volley ball! Then finished off the evening with good ol' oreo ice cream!

And now tonight we are off to the airport to pick up Mom and Wayne!

Girl's Night

Don't you sometimes wish that you could spend an evening with a couple of your close friends and go to the Spa, out for supper, and then stop for coffee? Well Friday night, I did just that! When Kelly was in the Middle East he had arranged for me and 2 others (whoever I wanted) to go to Ten Spa for massage's! So I chose my friends Stacy and Melissa (they're honestly like my sisters and I have no idea what I would do with out them!) I didn't really work for all of us while Kelly was gone so we changed the appointment and thus we had our night on Friday!

We arrived an hour early so we could steam up in the sauna and enjoy the rain forest shower. Then off to the 'relaxing' room where we had some water (suppose to be some amazing stuff but it tasted quite normal to me!), and waited for our massage therapist to take us back to our rooms. After 50 minutes of bliss and almost falling asleep we went to the quiet lounge and relaxed on white leather sofas until we were ready to go back to the relaxing room and have some snack. For snack there was strips of bread that are absolutely amazing when you eat them with the little chunks of cheese, lots of dried fruit, rectangles of rice with seaweed to roll it up in (we just had the rice and dipping sauce), cucumbers, and green tea. Quite a feast actually and so good!! Relaxed there for awhile then back to take showers. The showers are just awesome too! With 4 rain forest shower heads raining down from you on top and another one from the side you almost feel like you could be swimming or something! We all had very lengthy showers! lol And by the way, they have absolutely everything there for you to use except for maybe toothbrushes... hairdryers, razors, shaving gel, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, scruntchys, hair pins, and even disposable underwear!

Back out on the road again we made our way to Earl's to have appetizers since we were real hungry after our feast at the Spa! We sat out on the patio and enjoyed chatting about all the strange people that came and went. Of course, we talked about piles of other things too! :)

After coffee and tea we meandered back to the car and finally headed for home. It was an amazing evening, spent with amazing friends! We decided we should definitely do it again! Guess I'll have to save up my work money! lol

The South!

The highlights of our trip to the warm country!

- just me and Kelly doing whatever we wanted in Alb.
- going up Sandia Peak and hiking
- Gallop, seeing all the cute kids
- hiking with Erica and eating at Camille's and stopping for gelato
- the Indian dance's

- Florida! seeing all my old friends

- Morgan and Gwen's wedding
- Pensacola Beach

- Alabama! Home!
- beautiful, sunny days
- clean, refreshing pool
- supper with Doug & Laura and kiddos
- frozen yogurt

I sometimes don't like going back to the south, because I realize all over how much I actually miss everything! The people, culture, food, friends, family, water, trees, hills..... But it was a wonderful time, and it's been nice and sunny here too the last couple of days! One thing I'm really excited about is that I went back to 'on-call' at K-Tec!! So now maybe I'll actually get some things done around here!

Have a great day!

The Middle East

... well I'm back, at least for now! Here's a very abbreviated update on what's been going on in our lives!

- Kelly left me and flew away to Dubai and Saudi for 2 wks! He had a great time! And says he's taking me back there some day, so can't wait for that! He brought back lots of gift.... dresses and the full garb that the women wear there for me, a full outfit for himself, fabric, table runners, scarves... He's awesome at buying gifts!:) He also met a lot of Christians while he was out there so from now on don't believe all the books you read and news you hear about how it's so hard to be a Christian over there. Maybe it would be harder in Afghanistan and some of those countries but Saudi and Dubai it doesn't seem to be a problem at all! He also said it wouldn't be a problem for me to go over there, just have to wear my garb! lol

This is how all the men are dressed...

This would be a very nice garb for the women (going out for supper, or maybe just very rich) Most women would wear lots of make-up and very nice clothes underneath. And not all would cover there whole face....

I worked while Kelly was gone and spent a few days at his folks. Also Farmer's Market has started so I did that on the first Saturday in June. We're gonna be running a booth there for some friends of ours that are in the mission. We don't have to do the baking, just sale it which is the fun job!

And now we are in the good ol' South! I've been soaking up the sun and enjoying all the good food as much as possible! I'll try and give you a trip report when we are back home...

Off to eat some home made ice-cream!!

... our dear Dad left us for a better place, leaving us still sad and wondering at times how we would ever make it. It might be hard for some to believe, but it still hurts our hearts lots today. Maybe in a little different way, but it's still a hole in the heart. There are so many things I'd like to show him and talk to him about. He'd love his son and son-in-laws to pieces and I can only imagine all the fun and trouble they could all get into together! But he's gone.... And our lives have moved on, but we still miss you, love you, and think about you lots, Dad!!

A Thought

Well... life goes on. Work never seems to stop, or at least going to work. Seems like this week I haven't had much to do at work, and I don't like that cause the day goes by so slow then and it feels like you're not really needed. But at least I'm getting a paycheck. :) Here is my thot for the day!

Spring

SPRING HAS ARRIVED!! Here’s what we’ve been doing to enjoy this lovely and long awaited weather:

*kayaking down the river with friends*

*taking a picnic to the park along with our bikes*

*and most of all, LOVING the sunshine*
